Wongden Cardamom Homestay was initiated in the year 2003 which was also celebrated as Mangan Century year. During those days Mangan being a Headquarter of North District did not have that many Hotels and Lodges where the guest would come and stay. The same year likeminded got together and formed a committee, MTDC (Mangan Tourism Development Committee) to look into the Development of Tourism in Mangan. Over a period of time this committee has facilitated many villages to look for the avenues in Tourism Sector by opening up Homestays .This Wongden Cardamom Homestay is one of the first Homestay at Mangan. It started in the year 2003 and has been serving and satisfying the guest ever since.
